National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon will on Tuesday brief senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley on the prevailing situation along the Line of Control (LoC).

Amid escalating tension with Pakistan on the LoC, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh earlier spoke to the senior opposition leaders.

Singh, who assured both the leaders that the opposition would be kept in loop over the situation, also told them that the National Security Advisor would brief them on the developments on the LoC.

Tension between the two Asian neighbours has escalated ever since Indian jawan Lance Naik Hemraj Singh was beheaded in an attack by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control on January 8.

The rot has set in and has effected the army also !! Until now, they were known for their straight forward answers and statements. Now, our Army chief says - "will react strongly if provoked", "Put Political and International Pressure on Pakistan", "We will see...." What more provocations are they looking for ?? We were used to hearing these kind of statements from Political class especially MMS, Sonia Gandhi, Late Rajeev Gandhi and company. Its pity that our Army Chief speaks this language !!!

Lets talk future....

Why do you wanna demand 4 apology. No sense or any good will come out of this. What is their mistake in this or you could have saved them if you were in power. The main thing is the near future and the action taken. Reply.....
