Monsoon may advance towards MP: MET IMD predicts normal monsoon Monsoon within normal range: Met Dept Less monsoon rains this year, says IMD

: In what should bring some cheer to millions of Mumbaikers, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Friday said that current meteorological conditions are favouring advance of monsoon over Mumbai along with some parts of Maharashtra in the next 2-3 days. “The analysis also suggest strengthening of monsoon current over Arabian Sea,” the IMD added. India’s southwest monsoon has been 45% below normal from June 1 to June 17.
