UPS Global account goes to Ogilvy & Mather

Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide has been appointed as the global communications partner of International courier firm, UPS. Ogilvy won, following a selection process that narrowed down the choices from eight global networks over a six-month period.

Pizza Hut sticks to JWT as creative partner, a/c pegged at Rs 15 cr

Following a multi-agency pitch that involved JWT, O&M, BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi, Pizza Hut has retained JWT as the creative partner. Pizza Hut had called for the creative pitch in September 2009. The account is pegged at Rs 15 crore. JWT Delhi has been handling the account for the last 10 years. Pizza Hut is the pizza chain of restaurants and one of the flagship brands of Yum! Brands Inc.

Inter Publicity wins the creative duties of Deli and Calonge

Inter Publicity has won the creative duties for Deli, the brand by Deli-Penrex, an office-stationery company; and Calonge, a Spanish handbags and accessory brand. Ningbo Deli, the Chinese stationery company, entered India in April 2004 through a joint venture with Mumbai-based Penrex to form Deli-Penrex Stationery. Penrex Stationery has been in the writing instruments and stationery industry in India for more than half a century. Calonge is a brand of premium hand-braided leather accessories and was launched in India last year.

Kashmira Chadha calls it a day at Coca-Cola

Kashmira Chadha, director, marketing, Coca-Cola India has quit but she will held her duties until December 31. her next destination is not known. Chadha has been responsible for marketing of the Coca-Cola brand for the last three years. She was involved in the company’s corporate ad, Little drops of joy and Coca-Cola’s global ad campaign, Open Happiness. Prior to this, Chadha was assistant vice-president, marketing at The Seagram Company for five years.

Anand Siva says bye bye to Saatchi & Saatchi

Anand Siva, vice-president and branch head, Saatchi & Saatchi, Mumbai has put in his papers. Siva joined the agency in 2007 as vice-president for Saatchi & Saatchi Solutions, the specialised arm that offers 360-degree below-the-line communication solutions. Before this, Siva was with Akshara Advertising, Chennai, where he looked after the Chennai and Bengaluru operations. He has more than two decades of experience. Some of the clients he has worked for include Nortel, Fresh & Honest Café, Indian Airlines and Siva PCs.
