Monsoon may advance towards MP: MET

Pune: The MET office said the conditions were favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into some more parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh, in remaining parts of Orissa, West Bengal and Sikkim and some more parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh during next two to three days.

The southwest Monsoon has been active in Konkan and Goa.

It has been subdued in Telangana and Rayalaseema, it added in today's Weather Bulletin.
