New Delhi: State-run MMTC has invited bids for sale of 10,600 tonnes of imported yellow peas in the domestic market.

Bids will close on July 6 and the decision on the tender will be taken on July 8, the company said on its website.

MMTC said that it will offer 9,000 tonnes of yellow peas sourced from Canada and the rest from the US. The minimum bid quantity will be 1,000 tonnes.

The offered pulses will be from 2008 crop year, it said.
