The city continue to witness fluctuation in temperatures. On Friday, the mercury had to dipped to 11.7 degree Celsius but on Saturday the minimum temperature went up to 20 degrees Celsius.

The met department attributed these fluctuations to two cyclones, Helen and Leher. According to the All India weather summary, the low pressure area over Telangana and neighbourhood had become less marked. The Met department has also stated that some parts of the state are likely to see showers due to the moisture incursion. The influence of the prevailing systems is likely to bring about moisture incursion into parts of the state from Bay of Bengal and this will lead to clouding and rise in humidity.

Earlier there was a rise in night temperatures due to after effects of cyclone Helen that had crossed Andhra Pradesh on November 22 leading to 10.3 mm rainfall in the city. The IMD had forecast more rains with Leher passing over Andhra Pradesh. But now it seems to have weakened.
