MCA-21 technical glitch may have affected 2L e-filings

file in XBRL format since past two years. “Now, the companies can not meet the MCA-21 deadline on XBRL. This is a serious problem, which if not rectified quickly, would send out bad signals to the corporates,” said a senior chartered accountant asking not to be identified.
When contacted, the help-desk for MCA-21 said they have been told to communicate that the problems with the website should be fixed in one-week, something which was communicated even last week. “We have been told to communicate that the portal will start working in one week. We have urged the ministry to communicate the same on their website,” said an executive in the newly-created help-desk team operating from Gurgaon.
