MCA-21 technical glitch may have affected 2L e-filings
As a result of the technical glitch, corporates want the government to extend the last date of filing of financial statements in XBRL mode, a language for the electronic communication of business and financial data, from February 15 by at least another month or so. MCA-21 is the e-governence site of the ministry of corporate affairs hosting close to nine lakh companies. Incidentally, MCA-21 will be completing 7-years on February 18.
The MCA-21 website ran into technical glitches post January 17, when IT major Infosys took charge of the portal from another IT major TCS.
