Masoor, its dal price up on local demand

Marketmen said some local demand against limited arrivals from producing region mainly helped masoor and its dal prices to trade higher.

In the national capital, masoor small and bold rose by Rs 25 each to Rs 3625-3825 and Rs 3775-3975, while its dal local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 4325-4425 and Rs 4425-4525 per quintal respectively.

The following are today's pulses rates per quintal: Urad 3,400-3,900, Urad Chilka (local) 4,400-4,750, best 4,850-5,350, Dhoya 5,250-5, 350, Moong 5,100-5,700, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,650-6,050, Moong Dhoya local 6,100-6,200 and best quality 6,800-6,900.

Masoor small 3,625-3,825, bold 3,775-3,975, Dal Masoor local 4,325-4,425, best quality 4,425-4,525, Malka local 4,000-4,100, best 4,200-4,300, Moth 3,600-4,200, Arhar 3,800-4,000, Dal Arhar Dara 5,400-5,600.

Gram 3,800-4,300, Gram Dal (local) 4,400-4,500, best quality 4,700-4,800, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,850, Rajdhani 1,850, Rajmah Chitra 7,000-8,000, Kabli Gram small 4,000-6,300, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 3,300-4,400, Peas white 2,650-2,675 and green 2,750-2,850.
