Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car maker celebrates one year of introduction of Alto 800. Alto 800 is Maruti Suzuki’s flagship model and young Indian’s favorite car. To mark the celebrations, the company has launched an anniversary edition of Alto 800 that comes loaded with exciting features.
Coinciding with the upcoming festive season, Alto 800 anniversary edition is launched in a new exciting color option Purple Haze that adds to the festivities.
On the occasion, Mr. Manohar Bhat, Vice President (Marketing) Maruti Suzuki India, said “Alto has been India’s favourite car since its launch. The anniversary edition is our way to celebrate success with our customers in this festive season. The new exciting package of the anniversary edition will bring joy and value to customers in this festive season.”
New features on the anniversary edition include new body graphics, new dome decal, body coloured ORVM, body side moldings, black out film on B-pillar. Interiors come with a new seat fabric and a convenient rear parcel tray. Customers can also opt for an audio system.
Introduced in October 2012, Alto 800 continues to set new records for the industry. The Alto 800 has achieved over 2 lakh customers in the past one year, the only car to do so. Alto 800 has picked 10 top awards in the last one year. The Alto brand is the only 2nd and fastest Indian automobile brand to cross the two million mark of cumulative sales.
The anniversary edition will be available across India with starting price of Rs 3.12 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
