In his letter, addressed to Mamata Banerjee in her role as a member of Parliament, the chief minister has noted: “We have learnt that you plan to launch a demonstration and dharna from August 24 at the Tata small-car project site at Singur. This project is very important for our state. Earlier also, I had requested you to discuss the issue with the state government and work out an acceptable solution.”...
