Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M), India’s leading SUV manufacturer, has launched a flexible seating in Quanto, its 5+2 seater compact SUV. Christened as ‘Yoga seats’, the new seats allow 36 different seating combinations that offer flexibility and convenience.
With this new seating system, the Quanto is the only sub 4 metre vehicle to have this 5+2 Yoga seating configuration, the company said.
Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra, said, “With the new flexible ‘Yoga seats’, One can feel at home in the city, on highways or while driving off-road. One can also carry more bags, more weekend gears because of flexibility of storage and therefore enjoy more out of their weekend life.”
With the new seating configuration, the second row of seats in the Quanto comes with a reclining option and a centrally placed armrest. This enables passengers to adjust the seat back for better seating comfort and better leg space.
The Quanto is Mahindra’s first compact SUV. It is powered by new generation, light weight 1.5 L mCR100 diesel engine delivering 100 PS power and 240 Nm torque with fuel mileage of 17.21 Kmpl (ARAI).
