Dual-SIM Smartphone

Expanding its water- and dust-proof range of Xperia Z series devices, Sony launched the Xperia Z Ultra last week. The device is gigantic – 6.4 inches – and though marketed as a phone, it is a fairly sleek tablet at 6.5 mm and weighs 212 grams. It has the 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Sony says a special feature is its ability to recognise handwriting and inputs from a pencil, pen or stylus. If you do not have to make calls, then the 10.1-inch Xperia Tablet Z is a better choice for the same price.

Palm-sized

LG Pocket Photo Printer (PD233) is among the most portable printers in the market. The printer easily fits in the palm or standard coat pockets. The size of printed photos is 2×3 inches. LG says this printer uses inkless printing technology from Zink, which saves money as there is no need for cartridges. This printer can also print QR codes, which lets users make pictures interactive. It supports wireless connectivity and LG has a Pocket Photo app for iOS and Android.
