Srinagar: As many as 881 people received financial assistance on Friday under the Integrated Social Service Scheme (ISSS) in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district, an official spokesman said.

The aid was given to 811 poor people along with 70 relatives of militancy victims.

Under the scheme, Rs 200 would be paid monthly to the selected beneficiaries, while Rs 750 would be given as financial assistance to the relatives of militancy victims, the spokesman said.

A total of Rs 16.60 lakhs are being paid to 7,030 beneficiaries in the north Kashmir district, the spokesman added.
