New Delhi: Maintaining its falling streak for the fourth straight session, jeera futures dropped 0.43 per cent in early trade on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) on sustained selling by traders.
At 1120 hrs on the NCDEX, jeera for the May contract declined by 0.43 per cent to Rs 11,968 per quintal, with a trading volume of 264 lots. It had lost 0.30 per cent in previous day's trading.
Similarly, jeera for delivery in June also fell by 0.40 per cent to Rs 12,123 per quintal in trading of 360 lots.
Marketmen said continued selling by speculators of expectations of good global output.
