Jairam: Rs 200 old age pension an insult

The monthly old age pension of Rs 200 is “an insult to the dignity of an individual”, Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh has said. In a letter, he has requested the Prime Minister to review the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme and streamline its disbursal system.
