'Jai Ho' box office collections have finally managed to reach the coveted Rs 100 crore figure, saving lead actor Salman Khan the blushes, but this it was able to do so only after 10 days following its release, a number reached by Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 in just three days.
The sheen surrounding Salman Khan since the days of 'Dabanng', one of Bollywood's leading stars, seen fading as he has not been able to prop up the Jai Ho box office collections.
So, far from reaching the massive figure notched up by Dhoom 3, Salman Khan left his fans wondering about when Jai Ho will pass the first hurdle of Rs 100 cr, let alone reach the mammoth record set by Dhoom 3. The game of course is now over.
According to figures confirmed by the Eros International plc (Eros), Jai Ho's box office collections were Rs 102.58 crore with $16.3 million gross worldwide, despite its release on a non-holiday weekend.
