Jagjit Singh died in Mumbai on 10 October 2011 due to a massive cerebral haemorrhage.

Notables by Jagjit Singh:

Koi Yeh Kaise Bataye, Too Nahin To Zindagi Mein Aur Kya Reha Jayega, Yun Zindagi Ki Raah Mein, Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar, Tum Itna Jo Muskura Rahe Ho, Pyar Mujh Se Jo Kiya Tumne, Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar, Tum Ko Dekha To Yeh Khayal Aaya, Yeh Bata De Mujhe Zindagi.

RIP, Jagjit Singh.

No need to call others songs of that generation kitsch!

Would have done well by not calling love songs by Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar kitsch!!

He is the singer who never dies because of natural, soulfull, dark woody voice that could enthrall, embrace and engross every listner irrespective of age. Words feel pity to describe such a legendary who maneuvered the world with so much variety of music that too without artificial/superficial artistry that however hard someone may try cannot fill vacuum created by him. Google deserves praise for remembering such a Legend of Life Time as he will remain'unforgettable' for ever. Thanks.

HAPPY BDY JS
