New Delhi: India's infrastructure sector output grew 2.2 per cent in November from a year earlier, below 3.4 per cent annual growth in October, government data showed on Monday.

Output rose an annual 5.1 per cent in November 2007, and in the 2007/08 fiscal year it rose 5.6 per cent from a year earlier.

The infrastructure sector accounts for 26.68 per cent of India's industrial output.
