Infosys, India’s second-largest IT services exporter, has bagged a multi-year contract from the ministry of corporate affairs (MCA) in a deal valued at around $50 million to provide an array of technology services, according to a release issued by the company.
The ministry is undertaking a technological transformation of the organisation, termed the MCA21 v2 programme, to be in sync with the requirements of the digital age. Infosys will revamp the existing application, after the transition from the incumbent vendor and manage the overall transformation.
The company will provide services, application support and infrastructure operations for at least a period of five years. This contract is one of the latest deals bagged by Infosys in the domestic government market.
