It is a matter for study as to how the wholesale and reatail inflations run independent of each other as otherwise our expectations are that the retail infaltion would follow wholesale inflation and therby when wholesale inflation climbs down automatically it is expected that the retail also go down and bring relief to the consumers and as seen now it is not happening and on con trary, reverse is happening and needs study and remedial action if available.
