Industry forecast:By 2020, Manesar to attract investment of Rs 1 lakh crore
Unveiling a study undertaken industry body ASSOCHAM, officials said about Rs 1 lakh crore revenue and 15 lakh skilled and unskilled jobs will be generated by the industrial hub by 2020.
The study “Manesar- golden city of Haryana” was released by Sunil Kumar Dahiya, co-chairman, ASSOCHAM national council on real estate, and D S Rawat, secretary general of ASSOCHAM on Friday.
The industry body said a large number of Japanese-small scale industries (SSIs) are likely to shift their manufacturing base to Manesar.
Dahiya said Manesar has transformed into an industrial and commercial hub with the availability of all basic services like health facilities, schools, warehouses and cargo facilities.
The Industrial Model Township Manesar has seen a massive influx of corporate traders, realty players, manufacturers, industrialists, and also MNC, he said.
“Already leading global brands such as Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda and Suzuki are making colossal investments in real estate in Manesar. Also, the proposal to build an expressway to Jaipur is adding value to Manesar’s real estate. Most of the leading builders in India have bought land on this stretch to develop townships,” Dahiya said.
“The unique aspect of Manesar is the simultaneous development of residential complexes for both executive and non-executive staff. The HSIIDC has acquired 250 acres here and allotted it to various units for building staff quarters.
