New Delhi: The Indian Express Group has won a cybersquatting case against one Sanjeev Saluja of Bangkok at the the World Intellectual Property Organisation which has ordered transfer of domain name 'indianexpress.mobi' to the media house.

According to the information available with the WIPO, the Geneva-based WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center has ordered the transfer of domain name to the Indian media house after a WIPO-appointed panel found that Saluja "registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith".

The Indian Express Online Media Pvt Ltd and the Indian Express Ltd, both belonging to Indian Express Group, had challenged registering of domain name indianexpress.mobi by Saluja at WIPO stating that it was identical and confusing with its trademark on which the company has rights.
