The Indian School of Business (ISB) is holding a two-day workshop and interactive session, Equinox, for its alumni on October 20 and 21.

The event started at the Mohali campus on Saturday with around 110 alumni and their families arriving on the campus for two days of learning, networking and connecting. This annual alumni reunion is designed to give a taste of the year spent by the alumni at the ISB. The event offers a platform for the participants to connect with each other and industry leaders through a mix of workshops, lectures and social events, offering exposure to diverse opportunities and perspectives across the industry.

Interactive workshops are being conducted by academic and industry experts. Pavit Singh Sistani, an alumna of the 2006 batch said, “The session on influencing without authority was very informative. Through role plays and other interactions it taught us that various rungs in an organisation face different sets of problems. These must be understood with empathy in order to use them to your advantage”.

The event is an opportunity for the alumni to connect back to the school and relive the moments and memories spent at the ISB over the years. According to Rajiv Chhetri, an alumnus from the founding batch of ISB (2001), the students gain much from these initiatives of the institute, and also give back to it in various forms.

In addition to the more formal interactions, social events like networking over meals and a range of fun events are also planned.
