IAS officers to hold annual meet after 6-year gap
The development agenda of the Akhilesh Yadav government will be discussed at the Senior Administrative Officers Conference that will be held on Friday, the second day of the ‘IAS Week’, which is being organised by the IAS Association of the state after a gap of six years.
Various projects of the 19 different departments have been included in the agenda for discussion during the conference that will be organised in Tilak Hall of the Vidhan Bhawan complex. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will address and preside over the conference.
Along with a detailed discussion on law and order, the officers will also discuss government-run schemes like distribution of laptops and tablets to students, unemployment allowance, Kanya Vidya Dhan, availability of fertilisers and seeds, Samagra Gram Vikas Yojna, JNNURM, NRHM, various scholarship schemes, new IT policy as well as the industrial and investment policy.
“These points have been included in the agenda for the divisional commissioners and district magistrates who hold the responsibility to implement these welfare and development schemes. They will discuss ideas for effective implementation of these schemes,” said an association member.
