“It was quite tough, because without touching a drop of alcohol, I had to act like a woman who is drunk without displaying any physical manifestations like slurring or tripping. I had to express pain through my eyes. My director, Ahishor Solomon asked me to refer to Meena Kumari’s character in Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam and how she expressed herself in the film.
