Activist Anna Hazare has zeroed in on a house in Sarvodaya Enclave in South Delhi to better coordinate his anti-corruption movement while he is in the Capital. Hazare has already been to the house and is said to have made a token payment to rent the place.

Located in a quiet, tree-lined avenue, B-18 is owned by a joint family and has a big verandah, a terrace, spacious rooms. Some scenes of the film Vicky Donor, which had Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Annu Kapoor in the lead roles, were shot in this house.

Annaji is a simple man with minimal needs. His need is two bedrooms, drawing, dining and what not. He is modern Gandhi. But the owner's statement of renting out rather than giving it free has to be applauded. The movement seems to have quite a lot of money to be able to afford a place in a posh locality. Great way to run the movement.
