Karan Johar wore the choreographer’s hat and impress ed the audience with his dance
Impressed by the scintillating performances of the stars, the host of the 19th Annual Colors Screen Awards, Karan Johar could not resist shaking a leg as he prepared to announce the nominations of the Best Choreography category.
Displaying his dancing prowess on stage, Johar astounded the audience and his two young partners, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, the actors of Student Of The Year, as he broke into a jig. Tongue firmly in cheek, he explained to the duo that he was an expert in the field of dancing and could teach the choreographers a thing or two! It was a sight to see the dapper film-maker, shake a leg on Salman Khan's dhinchak numbers Pandeyji seeti bajaaye and Fevicol se from Dabangg 2, Go go Govinda (OMG: Oh My God!), Jhalla (Ishaqzaade) and Ishq shava (Jab Tak Hai Jaan). However, Johar left Katrina Kaif's Chikni Chameli alone diplomatically stating that it was best performed by the original item girl!
His two proteges followed the instructions of their guru, matching pace with him. Johar's act surely stole the thunder and had the guests raving about his performance.
