



Hong Kong: Hong Kong share prices opened 2.5 per cent higher on Friday, tracking an overnight rally on Wall Street, dealers said.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index opened up 334.39 points at 13,513.29.
Telecoms firm PCCW opened down 2.2 per cent to 4.08 Hong Kong dollars (0.52 US) after the city's financial watchdog launched a probe into vote-rigging allegations surrounding a privatisation deal approved by shareholders on Wednesday.
