HCL Corp buys 11.71 lakh HCL Infosystems shares

HCL Infosystems today said its promoter HCL Corporation Pvt Ltd has bought 11.71 lakh shares of the firm for around Rs 4.5 crore.
In a filing to the BSE, HCL Infosystems said that HCL Corp through a market purchase acquired 11,71,150 shares at Rs 4,51,62,384.70 on 11-12 March taking its total stake in the company to 43.74 per cent.
The purchase took place on BSE and NSE platforms.
For the period ended December 31, 2012, Shiv Nadar-owned HCL Corp's stake in HCL Infosystems stood at 42.85 per cent.
HCL Corporation is the holding company of HCL Technologies and HCL Infosystems.
Shares of the company on BSE today rose by 1.52 per cent to settle at Rs 39.95 apiece from the previous close.
