Haryana govt revises norms for change of land use
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Town and Country Planning Department said that while considering or examining CLU (Change of Land Use) application for setting up of retail outlets, fuel filling stations in controlled areas,
land requirement and other parameters as per new guiding principles shall be followed.
In case of independent petrol pumps along National Highways, the minimum area for independent fuel filling stations in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and highways shall be followed, which would be 35 metre by 35 metre on undivided carriageway.
On divided carriageway, it would be 35 metre (frontage) by 45 metre.
In 'urbanisable' zone or areas, it would be 20 metre by 20 metre. The maximum area for this category shall be as per Letter of Intent (LoI) and site plan issued by Petroleum Companies but should not be more than 3000 square metres.
He said that for petrol pumps with facilities like repairs, services shop, ATMs and small eating places like Dhaba or fast food joint, the minimum area would be one acre (4,047 square metres) and maximum area 1.5 acres (6,070 square metres).
These areas or facilities shall be allowed as per provisions contained in LoI or site plan issued by petroleum companies.
