Gur prices ends steady in thin trade

New Delhi, Dec 18 (PTI) The wholesale jaggery market showed a steady trend in the national capital today as prices by and large moved bothway on alternate small bouts of trading and settled at last levels.

Marketmen said restricted arrivals and scattered buying mainly kept prices unmoved.

The following are today's quotations per quintal:

Gur chakku 2,750-2,850, pedi 2,900-3,000, dhayya 2,900- 3,000 and shakkar 3,100-3,200.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,300-2,350, chakku 2,550-2,700 and khurpa 2,475-2550.

Muradnagar: Pedi 2550-2,650 and dhayya 2,600-2650.
