Minister of State in the PMO V Narayanasamy today said the Congress-led UPA government was ready to reply to any issues the opposition might raise in the winter session of Parliament, beginning on November 22.

"The Prime Minister had already held meetings with leaders of various political party ahead of the session for smooth conduct of the proceedings. We are ready to reply to any issues the opposition might focus in Parliament," he told reporters here.

He denied reports in a section of the press which quoted him as saying that the entire power generated from the first unit of the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant in Tamil Nadu would be available for the state.

All four states in the south bound by the agreement for sharing the generated power would get allocation from the plant, he said.
