The 8.15 per cent government security maturing in 2022 slipped to Rs 101.5850 from Rs 101.63, while its yield inched-up at 7.91 per cent from 7.90 per cent.

The 8.97 per cent government security maturing in 2030 eased to Rs 108.5700 from Rs 108.5825, while its yield held steady to 8.06 per cent.

The 8.07 per cent government security maturing in 2017 moved down to Rs 100.75 from Rs 100.77, while its yeild edged-up at 7.87 per cent to 7.86 per cent.

The 9.15 per cent government security maturing in 2024, the 8.12 per cent government security maturing in 2020 and 8.19 per cent government security maturing in 2020 were also quoted lower at Rs 108.02, Rs 101.40 and Rs 101.26 respectively.

The overnight call money rate finished slightly higher at 8.10 per cent from 8.05 per cent yesterday. It moved in a range of 8.15 per cent and 7.90 per cent.

The Reserve Bank of India under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility purchased securities worth Rs 808.65 billion in 25 bids at the one-day repo auction at a fixed rate of 8.00 per cent, while sold securities worth Rs 0.05 billion in one-bid at the 1-day reverse repo auction at a fixed rate of 7 per cent in the evening auction.
