AT THE POST-GLOBES PARTY TENT

Forget the fancy hotel, the makeshift tent outside the Beverly Hilton Hotel was the place to be following the Golden Globes.

It was there that Idris Elba, Kevin Spacey, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and P. Diddy, among others, gathered to munch on sushi and dance to classic R&B at the Weinstein-Netflix post-Globes party.

Also among the revelers: Kristin Chenoweth, Steve Coogan and Taylor Schilling and other stars from ''Orange Is the New Black.''

POST-GLOBES IT'S TIME TO PARTY

If the Golden Globes weren't party enough, there was the InStyle afterparty, where Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, wasted no time cutting the rug to the sounds of Lionel Richie.

Meanwhile, Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon made the event a family affair, attending with their daughter, Miss Golden Globe Sosie Bacon.

As Mads Mikkelsen sipped a beer, the Bacons' daughter dug into a plate of appetizers.

Other revelers who dropped by included Uma Thurman, Jon Voight and Tom Hanks.

GUESS WHERE I AM

Just like everybody else, Hollywood's biggest stars can't resist pulling out their smartphones and letting the world know when they're somewhere special.

At times during the Golden Globes it looked as if more heads were bowed over those phones than talking to tablemates or watching the show.

Just a few of those who were busily typing away: Kevin Spacey, Liev Schreiber and Amy Adams.

REPORT FROM THE SMOKING PATIO

The patio outside the International Ballroom at the Golden Globes is as star-studded as the room inside.

When Globes celebrants need fresh air - or nicotine-tinged air - they head straight there.

''12 Years A Slave'' co-stars Michael Fassbender and Sarah Paulson dropped by to share a smoke and a laugh with actress Emma Roberts.

Elisabeth Moss juggled a cigarette in one hand and her Golden Globe for best actress in a miniseries or movie in the other.

Kate Beckinsale shared a smoke with Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, whose movie ''The Past'' was nominated in the foreign language category.
