Gold prices continued to scale yet another all-time new peak at the domestic bullion market here today on continued off-take from stockists and traders on prospects of higher wedding seasonal demand that ensured setting of yet another record.

Silver also strengthened to regain Rs 64K-level on hectic speculative demand amid heavy industrial buying.

Standard gold (99.5 purity) spurted up by Rs 160 per 10 grams to end at Rs 32,500 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 32,340.

Pure gold (99.9 purity) also surged by Rs 155 per 10 grams to finish at Rs 32,640 from Rs 32,485.

Silver ready (.999 fineness) hardened by Rs 390 per kg to close at Rs 64,350 as compared to Rs 63,960 last weekend.

In Europe, gold traded down on lower euro amidst investors' profit taking and cautiousness over the possibility for Greek aid deal.

Spot gold bid lower at USD 1,747.41 an ounce in early trade, while silver was bid down at USD 34.02 an ounce.
