Mumbai: GMR Infrastructure said its unit GMR-Hyderabad International Airport and a wholly-owned unit of Malaysia Airlines will set up a joint venture for airframe maintenance, repair and overhaul services.
The equal-stakes venture will be based in Hyderabad, GMR Infrastructure said in a statement to the stock exchange on Friday.
GMR Infrastructure holds 63 per cent in GMR-HIAL. Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad holds 11 per cent in it while Airports Authority of India and the government of Andhra Pradesh hold 13 per cent each, it said.
