A glitch on the overhead electric lines on the Dwarka Metro corridor held up a large number of commuters on Friday morning.
The snag developed at Janakpuri on the Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida/Vaishali corridor at 9.15 am causing sluggish movement of trains on the corridor.
Being the busiest corridor of the entire Metro network, the slowdown led to bunching of trains, holding up a large number of commuters.
The morning rush hour crowd had to face long delays with the problem finally being rectified at 10.45 am.
As a result, the already congested Rajiv Chowk station was choked leading to overcrowding on platforms.
