Give us Gorkhaland if you give Telangana: GJM to Centre

Further complicating the Telangana problem, Gorkhaland leaders on Thursday asserted that their demand for separate Gorkhaland state could not be overlooked in case the Centre decides to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh to create Telangana.
Gorkha Janmukti Morcha general secretary Roshan Giri met senior home ministry officials to convey that his organisation would renew its agitation for the creation of a hill state from West Bengal, in case New Delhi acceded to the demand to create Telangana.
“We plan to meet Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde in a day or two. The thing is that if they give Telangana, they must also give us Gorkhaland,” Giri said.
