Games Village sports complex to open by month-end

The opening of the sports complex has missed several deadlines. The previous deadline was September 2012.
According to the DDA, the charges of pay-and-play at its other sports complexes will apply for the Games Village too. For instance, entry charge at Siri Fort complex is Rs 40 and non-members have to pay an additional cost for every facility they use.
The Games Village sports complex has gymnasiums, an athletics track and facilities for swimming, table tennis, football, badminton, basketball and volleyball.
