Ford sales rise marginally in Nov

Car maker Ford India today reported a marginal rise in its total sales in November this year at 10,155 units.

The company had sold a total of 10,091 units in the same month last year.

The domestic sales, however, declined by 28.57 per cent to 5,944 units in November this year against 8,322 units in the same month last year, Ford India said in a statement.

The company exported a record of 4,211 units last month compared to 1,769 units in the year-ago period, registering a growth of over two-fold, it added.

Commenting on the sales performance, Ford India Executive Director (Marketing, Sales and Service) Vinay Piparsania said: "Despite ongoing market challenges, we are very pleased to see customer sentiments improving and their confidence in the Ford brand continuing to grow."
