Floats.TV launches 'real time' social application for mobile phones, tablets

Aiming to make TV viewing a shared experience, Floats.TV has launched a social application for mobiles and tablets through which a user can interact with friends over TV content in real time.
"Our objective is to get people to instantly react to something happening on TV. The application, Floats, lets users interact online with friends while watching TV programs.
"It will also help viewers with better content discovery along with connecting friends and strangers across passion points like cricket," Floats Co-founder Beerajah Sswain said.
The application will also act as a measurement and engagement tool for advertisers, helping them channelise advertising spends better.
