Flight operations at the city airport were disrupted early on Saturday morning due to heavy fog.

No flights could take off or land from 2 am as the fog density was around 50 m leading to very low visibility, airport officials said.

As the weather improved, air operations resumed after 8 am.

Flight operations at the NSC Bose International Airport were disrupted yesterday due to heavy fog. Around 40 morning flights could not take off and about 13 in-coming flights could not land at the airport due to poor visibility.
