The entire package, that is, the five satellite speakers and their base, plus audio cables and the in-line power supply came to us for a product review neatly packed in a large cardboard box. Once out of the box, it becomes evident that F&D’s latest offering meets the three key requirements— something that is budget based, simple setup and good quality audio with plenty of clarity. The overall design is very good and its user-friendly remote control will mean that the gizmo will become a part of your drawing room or bedroom in no time. It also occupies less space and most importantly, it is power-friendly.

Installation was a seamless affair. I connected the speaker to the sub via an accompanying cable and then connected the F6000U to a wide range of audio choices—iPod Touch, laptop, mobile phones, DVD player— via the cable. I simply hit play and sat back to relish incredible sound. Believe
