New Delhi: ESOP Direct in association with 9.9 Media is organising a conference on November 26, 2009 at Hotel Taj Lands End in Mumbai to address key questions and issues around employee incentives. The conference –‘The High Performance Workplace: Aligning the Interests of Employees and Management’- will address steps to create a culture of employee ownership and share best practices. It will focus on equity based compensation like ESOPs and discuss ways and means to introduce these as core components of a company’s functioning. The recent upsurge in the stock markets indicates that the economy appears poised to re-enter a growth phase and leave the downturn behind. In the emerging scenario, employee retention assumes larger importance and tools such as ESOPs will be vital.

In today’s business environment, which is characterised by the increasing usage of new innovations to ensure employee retention and motivation, ESOPs are increasingly emerging as a smart choice. The day-long conference will consist of multiple sessions devoted to the key issues, successes and challenges surrounding the development and implementation of ESOP programmes.

Dr Manoj Vaish, President and Chief Executive Officer India – Dun and Bradstreet Information Services India Pvt Ltd. will serve as the keynote speaker. He will share his views on how today’s corporate leaders can inspire and incentivise their employees to generate greater value and productivity.
