London: Harry Potter star Emma Watson’s banker boyfriend Jay Barrymore has reportedly moved into her new North London pad.
The 19-year-old, who plays who plays Hermione Granger, has bought a 3- million-pound townhouse, according to sources.
The news that Barrymore has moved his things in suggests their 16-month relationship is getting serious.
“Her relationship with Jay is going from strength to strength. They are spending increasing amounts of time with one another,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
“It makes perfect sense for Jay to leave some of his stuff at hers and see how it goes.
“So far, so good – and Emma’s confident they’ll stay together even when she’s abroad. It’s an exciting time for Emma, both personally and professionally,” the source added.
The star first met the 26-year-old at a film awards ceremony.
Although she is going to university in America, the actress was keen to have a permanent place in England.
“Emma’s off to university in America soon but was determined to put some roots down in England first,” the source said.
“Despite the fame, she’s really got her head screwed on, After consulting with several property experts, as well as her family and friends, she’s decided to invest in her own place.
“It’s a North London townhouse and it’s just a stone’s throw from her dad Chris’s house. So she can pop round for a Sunday roast whenever she fancies,” the source added.
