Finance, management and accounting provider, Get Through Guides, has announced a scholarship programme for 120 students at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales through Advanced Stage Technical Integration exams. Half of the positions have already been filled, leaving only 20 slots each for individuals from Mumbai, Pune and Delhi. Around 80 per cent of the fees is covered by the scholarship, reducing fees from around Rs 2 lakh to Rs 40,000. Applicants must be members of ICAI, should be under 35 years of age and must be motivated to achieve a first-time pass rate.
MIT to host robotics competition
The National Skill Development Corporation India (NSDC) in collaboration with MIT's Maharashtra Academy of Engineering ( MAE ) has launched a nationwide search for skilled and talented youths to represent India in the mobile robotics skill category at the 42nd World Skills Competition.
The six-day competition will begin on July 2, 2013 at Leipzig, Germany. MAE, Pune will host an robotics competition to shortlist candidates on July 12-13 at its Alandi Campus.
The referees would comprise experts from IIT Mumbai , COEP, Festo, Next Robotics and MIT institute of design.
Orientation event at ISBM
