Edserv signs new pact, shares surge 4%

Edserv Softsystems said on Tuesday it has entered into a partnership with CAClubIndia, which will help the education services company deliver its CA coaching content to about 600,000 students.
The company, which had forayed into the online CA coaching services business through a joint venture in January, expects to generate revenue of 2 billion rupees from its overall CA coaching services, the company said in a statement to the exchange.
Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
Reacting to the news, shares of the company extended gains and rose 4.4 percent to 133.95 rupees in a firm Mumbai market.
