Telenor’s global head, Jon Fredrik Baksaas, seems to have learnt a great deal through his company’s India operations in the last three years and he was gracious enough to share his ‘market learning’ with the media on Thursday. Constantly questioned over the possible merger of his company’s India operations with another telecom operator, Baksaas, tired of answering the same question, finally said: “One thing India has taught me is that there are speculations in every corner and when you pass one of those corners, another one is just waiting for you.”
