



Kolkata: The Calcutta Stock Exchange during the week faced heavy selling pressure in line with global cues.
The benchmark CSE-40 index was down 658.43 points during the week. In the previous week the bourse was up 25.34 points.
The index opened at 7,537.61 points and inched higher to touch an intra-week high of 7,771.99 till Wednesday. In the last two days it lost ground to finally close at 6,879.18 points.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 303.75. Larsen & Toubro was down at Rs 1,562. ONGC eased to Rs 1,149.
OMDC inched higher to close at Rs 26,749. Reliance Industries was at 2,207.80 and State Bank of India was at Rs 2,184.95 at close.
Twenty-First Century was at Rs 290.15 and Vindus Holding finished the week at Rs 293.
